Jonathan Friedland, is the founder and Managing Partner of the Haifa Office of E.S. Shimron, I. Molho, Persky, & Co., Law Offices, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Haifa Israel, specializing in: Transnational commercial agreements, transnational trust and estate settlement, NGO creation and representation, maritime and aviation transport litigation; philanthropic transactions, litigation and arbitration in engineering and architectural disputes.
Mr. Friedland also serves as the Consular Agent of the United States for Haifa and the North, providing consular, educational, commercial, and informational services to residents of the north of Israel on behalf of the US Embassy in Tel Aviv, pursuant to his appointment by the Secretary of State in September, 1986. Under Mr. Friedland's supervision and development, the Haifa Consular Agency has become the highest volume legation of this type in the world.
Mr. Friedland is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Neve Yosef Community Center in Haifa. He is the immediate past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fulbright Foundation in Israel. He is the legal advisor to the Haifa Foundation; the Friends of the Ofer School for Autistic Children, Haifa; the Erez Center for Educational and Societal Advancement in the Western Galil, at Shlomi; he is legal advisor and a member of the board of the Rubin Conservatory of Music in Haifa.
