How Do Technical Writers Benefit?

Those involved have gone from being underemployed to overbooked with more interesting and profitable work. Professional lectures, ad hoc partnerships and feedback from members of industry have all increased their value to those who need technical writing services. The salary survey results were picked up by The Marker, ynet, and Haaretz gives technical writers information that they need during salary negotiations.

How Does Industry Benefit?

Many companies have found technical writers that better meet their needs and provide a better ROI even at higher salaries and hourly rates. Expectations have increased and many companies are finding that the unique experience that many technical writers bring can be used to provide better solutions at lower cost than other professionals that they've use in the past.

How Does Yokneam Benefit?

As the 2nd largest R&D center in northern Israel, easy access to many of Israel's most experienced technical writers gives local industry a competitive advantage. Becoming the capital of the Israeli technical writing community in much the same way that Nashville, Tennessee is the capital of the American music industry, makes Yokneam even more attractive to the type of hi-tech industry that Yokneam wants to attract.
