Grantwriting workshop

Learn the art of grantwriting for non-profit organizations in a 4-session 12-hour course with David Maeir Epstein, MSSA.

The grantwriting course focuses on the teaching of the following essential skills: how to write grant proposals, how to identify and work with foundations, and how to gain employment as salaried staff or freelancers. The course provides its participants with information about on-line searches for locating foundations. While the course does not promise employment, graduates are provided with information about the many openings in the field of grantwriting in Israel. Many graduates have subsequently entered the field or advanced their position.

Cost: 1,100 NIS (including VAT and study materials) for the general public. *There is an early-bird discount of 100 NIS for those who register and pay for the course in full by April 7th. Participants who register and pay in full by April 27th will receive a 50 NIS discount.* Members of Nefesh B'Nefesh, SAZF, the Yokneam Forum of Technical Writers (Elephant), AACI and the UJIA receive an additional 50 NIS discount. Participating in this workshop will grant you a 75 NIS discount for our fundraising workshop that teaches how to raise funds through personal solicitation, events and the web. See www.israelgrants.com/8161 for further information. The registrants that will not receive the early bird discount can split the cost to three payments.

Venue: The course will start in the first week of May 2009 between the hours 16:30- 19:30 (the specific time and date will be determined by the first 5 registrants). The course will take place at the offices of David Maeir Epstein – Resource Development for Nonprofits, 43A Emek Refaim St, 3rd floor, Room 4, Jerusalem.
