See what others say about Jennifer's classes:

Jennifer is an exceptional teacher and she crafts her lessons in a structured but fun way. Her writing prompts brought out things that were sometimes unexpected for us, each week we acquired new insights, and she gave constructive criticism to everyone. We were encouraged us to learn new words in English, to express ourselves clearly with language, to have awareness of figures of speech and to mind our clichés, and to really reach into our brains and dust off the cobwebs! The venue is inviting and relaxing too. –Liora

I enjoyed the introductions: the poems, which got me in the mood. It was interesting to meet and hear the work of other aspiring memoirists, it gave me confidence to hear their feedback. I relished the writing tasks, which were well explained and inspirational. I was particularly grateful that you, the teacher, kept everyone in line and were encouraging and energetic. Your knowledge and experience shine through. Finally, the e-mails you sent to summarize our sessions with reading attachments and a small task were most helpful in keeping the momentum going between sessions. –Nerys

— I have enjoyed the mini memoir sessions. Your patience and encouragement make me feel so good… You have a knack for finding something positive and guiding us… I learned that writing a memoir is a real challenge and that I must write, write, write, reread, critique, and write some more. –Tybie
