Directions to the Ben-Elya Home

There are 2 entrances to Yokneam so the directions are slightly different.

  1. Coming from Tel-Aviv
  2. Coming from Haifa
  3. Coming from Jerusalem via Route 6

Coming From Tel-Aviv

  1. Take Haifa-Tel Aviv coastal road (Highway 2) north to Zichron Yaacov junction (A on the map above).
  2. Turn right (east) at the junction onto Highway 70 and continue for about 24 km to Yokneam West junction (B on the map above).
  3. Exit to the right at Yokneam West. junction (C on the map above). If you miss the exit don't panic - you can enter Yokneam from the next exit and follow the Haifa directions from step 3 onward.
  4. Turn right at the top of the exit ramp. Pass Moshav Elyakim on your right and look for the entrance to Yokneam on your left.
  5. Turn left into Yokneam. This is the new main road (Shderot Rabin). Continue on Shderot Rabin until you reach the 2nd traffic circle (regular intersections don't count).
  6. Turn left at the traffic circle onto Rehov Haze'elim.
  7. Drive to the first street on the left (don't be fooled by the driveway into a building complex just after the  traffic circle) and turn onto Rehov Ha'arava.
  8. Turn left again onto Rehov Nofar and park. You want the 2nd house on the right.

Coming From Haifa

  1. Drive to the “Check Post” junction and make a left hand turn at the traffic light.
  2. Follow the signs and turn right at the light towards Nazareth and Yagur junction.
  3. Go up the hill and through all traffic lights. The road will go down then bend to the right. This is the new main road (Shderot Rabin).
  4. Continue on Shderot Rabin until you reach the 2nd traffic circle.
  5. Turn right at the traffic circle onto Rehov Haze'elim.
  6. Drive to the first street on the left (don't be fooled by the driveway into a building complex just after the  traffic circle) and turn onto Rehov Ha'arava.
  7. Turn left again onto Rehov Nofar and park. You want the 2nd house on the right.


Coming from Jerusalem via Route 6

  1. The Yokneam Intersection is not ready yet so when get off at the last exit turn right toward Afula.
  2. Follow the Wadi Ara road until the Megiddo junction.
  3. At Megiddo junction turn left and continue straight until you reach a set of lights where you must turn right or left.
  4. Turn left and you immediately reach Hatishbi junction. Turn left at the lights. The road will bend to the right at the next set of traffic lights (get into the left lane).
  5. At the traffic lights turn left up into Yokneam.
  6. Go up the hill and through all traffic lights. The road will go down then bend to the right. This is the new main road (Shderot Rabin).
  7. Continue on Shderot Rabin until you reach the 2nd traffic circle.
  8. Turn right at the traffic circle onto Rehov Haze'elim.
  9. Drive to the first street on the left (don't be fooled by the driveway into a building complex just after the  traffic circle) and turn onto Rehov Ha'arava.
  10. Turn left again onto Rehov Nofar and park. You want the 2nd house on the right.
