Gail has worked in high tech so long she can remember when computers filled entire rooms, and the pre-Internet dark ages when technical writers didn't have online dictionaries, tutorials, interest groups, email lists, book reviews and salary surveys to help them earn their daily bread.

Gail currently works as a Technical Manager for iPass R & D in Herzlia, where she enjoys a varied routine that includes working on a web-based GUI, and writing documentation. In her spare time she reads, coaches other writers on the fine art of applying bum-glue to the seat of their chairs, spins (yarn not bicycles), paints (yarn, not pictures), knits, gardens, practices yoga and cares for stray animals.
