Posting to Writers for Hire

(edited 1 year, 6 months ago)Writers for Hire is one of the most effective advertising outlets for technical writers, marcom writers and copy editors in Israel because this is the one place where companies can find a professional who is available for immediate work.
You must be a member of Elephant to post to "Writers for Hire" and you are only allowed to post when you are immediately available for work. Membership entails agreeing to abide by the Code of Ethics and paying membership dues. For details go to elephant.org.il/join_now . Members who are not immediately available for work can still include themselves in the list of Other Writers to Contact.

How to Add Tags
Tags make it easier to cross-reference articles. They also increase the likelyhood that others will see your article. In recent weeks the bugs in the tagging mechanism have been fixed and a TAGS tool has been added to the editing toolbar to make it easy.Read more... -
How to Register for a User Account

To register, just go to http://elephant.org.il/register and follow the instructions in the How to movie.. When you are done you will receive an email asking you to activate your account.

How to Post to Blog Pages

(edited 1 year, 6 months ago)All members have posting rights to the blog page folders listed below. The title and and excerpt go onto the home page. Access to other folders can be created as needed:
- headlines (any news item or announcement)
- jobs (joblisting - these are only visible to members)
- available_writers (your name is the subject and goes under Writers for Hire at the top of the left column - this is great advertising when you are looking for work)
- events/other_organizations (summaries of events)
