The simplified instructions are for those who had problems logging in to the survey. Access to the detailed results of the survey is conditional on participation every quarter. - Details inside -
Detailed and up-to-date information on salaries and rates is vital. For freelance writers having accurate information can mean the difference between getting a client and pricing yourself out of a job, or between maximizing your income and minimizing it.
Participation is easier now that the forms have been moved to the individual password-protected User Profile area. Participants need to login and this has led to some confusion because many participants do not have user accounts (free and easy to create at http://elephant.org.il/register). 1. Once logged in you need to click Edit profile.
2. Click the Demographic Profile tab. This profile is used to process your survey data. You only need to fill in and save it once. Each quarter just review and approve it.
3. Click the relevant survey tab and fill in the details then save. As an added security measure, the most sensitive fields will disappear from view. The rest will remain so that you can review and edit next quarter.
