About Esther Shira Stepansky

Esther Shira Stepansky is one of today’s renaissance women. She holds degrees in music, religion, Judaic Studies, computer science and Aeronautical Engineering Technology, from the University of Denver, The Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology, and Mercy College, respectively. She has taught all ages from fourth-graders to seniors a variety of settings, both formal and informal, topics ranging from how to play the clarinet to Java Programming and Aerodynamics.  She was employed by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration as an Engineering Technician at New York metro area airports, for Snickelways Interactive as a web developer, and was the first coordinator of the Online Learning Center at Mercy College.

She was a commissioned officer in the US Army Reserve and served in both military police and maintenance capacities. As a private citizen, her spare time was often used to volunteer in many roles with the Civil Air Patrol, eventually serving as Squadron Commander of the Broomfield Squadron in Colorado, an area that required frequent search and rescue missions for lost aircraft, hikers and skiers in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. She currently is the owner of Globalizard Technical Services, a provider of technical training and support for desktop users, web technology design and programming, and technical writing.
