At the end of 2006 the average technical/marcom writer salary was 16,710.59 NIS, up from 16,429.01 NIS in Q4 2006; the median is 17,000 NIS, up from 16,500 NIS. Although this is good news for technical writers it is only a small part of the story because rates differ by area, experience, etc.
Starting with the Q1 2007 salary report the salary survey reports include percentile breakdowns by age, experience, geographic area, company size, writer type and more.
