The goals of the Salon are to write together, to jump start your creative juices, and to feed off of each other's energy and ideas. It is open to all levels and genres. Each week will include writing prompts, writing time, sharing aloud and discussion on craft. Every session meets from 11AM-1PM.

A freelance writer, Jennifer Lang has been published in Hippocampus Magazine, South Loop Review, Indian River Review, Dumped: Stories of Women Unfriending Women, and, upcoming in Under the Sun, among others. Occasionally, she contributes to the Wall Street Journal's Expat column. This summer, she received a MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts, leaving her time to devote one hundred percent to finishing her first memoir.
