Third event in the series on XML and Content Management with Gershon Joseph - 5th of July

Fee: Free for STC Israel members NIS 30 for nonmembers NIS 25 for ITA members

In the subject line, indicate the name of the event you want to attend, your name and FULL (9-digit) ID (Teudat Zehut) number, and whether you are a member of STC Israel, ITA, or neither. If you are coming by car to the Kodak event and want to take advantage of their underground parking, include your car's license plate number in the subject line. If registering others besides yourself, please supply their full ID numbers, email address, and affiliation (STC/ITA member, or neither). Please note that we cannot guarantee your entry into the Kodak building and/or car park without these details.
Confirmation of registration and directions to this event will be sent to the registered participants a few days prior to the event.

Part 2: Translating XML content - This part focuses on best practices for translating XML content, including: How to maximize legacy translation memory How to minimize future localization costs Tips on how to write content for localization Tips on setting up publishing style sheets for multiple languages
About the presenter:
Gershon Joseph has been writing highly technical documentation for over 20 years, and has developed complex XML solutions for more than 10. He is an internationally renowned consultant for XML documentation and content management solutions.
Gershon is Director of Technology and Single Sourcing at Tech-Tav Documentation, where he leads Tech-Tav's technology consulting group. He is also Secretary of the OASIS DITA Technical Committee and DITA Translation Subcommittee, and a member of the OASIS DocBook technical committee.
Gershon has helped teams at more than 100 companies worldwide (including many Fortune 50/100 companies) to successfully implement SGML, XML and CMS solutions.
